Founding Sarita Handa Exports in 1992, she redefined handcrafted excellence, partnering with renowned international retailers. Committed to women’s empowerment, she fosters training and employment opportunities, believing that empowering a woman transforms not just a family but the future of a nation.

With over 25 years of leadership, Suparna Handa has transformed Sarita Handa from a home textile export business into a globally recognised name in luxury interiors. Drawing from her experience at Ralph Lauren and ABC Carpets, she expanded the brand’s portfolio while embedding sustainability at its core. She spearheaded the evolution of the legacy brand into contemporary minimalism with the launch of Sarita Handa NOW, ensuring the brand remains at the forefront of quality, design, and ethical craftsmanship.

The driving force behind Sarita Handa’s retail expansion in India, Captain Rahul Puri is a textile aficionado with a decades-long passion for heritage textiles and artefacts. His vision led to the creation of the Sarita Handa Archives, a collection of over 5,000 rare pieces that debuted at India Art Fair 2025 to critical acclaim. He continues to oversee group finances and steer the brand’s growth across India.

A key ally of Mrs. Handa’s, Vivek Trehan joined the company in its very first week in 1992. With formidable operational expertise, he has been instrumental in driving the brand’s consistent double-digit growth year after year. He continues to oversee the company’s projects, ensuring seamless execution and expansion.

Suvinay Kapoor has been an integral part of Sarita Handa since 1996. He started by streamlining operations and later gained expertise in production and planning before transitioning to retail. In 2013, he oversaw the launch of the brand’s first flagship store, marking the beginning of its retail expansion. Since then, he has led the opening of multiple stores across India and the launch of the e-commerce platform. With a strong focus on customer experience and market needs, he continues to drive the brand’s retail growth.

With 37 years of experience across multiple industries, Vidyut Gupta leads Sarita Handa Home, overseeing interiors and customised furniture. His expertise drives the brand’s vision of bespoke luxury, blending craftsmanship with contemporary design.
